Keep Kurapia moist and away from direct sunlight until it is installed. Using the spacing desired, dig a hole that is 2” to 3” wide and twice the depth of the Kurapia plug. This is very important as the chance of survival will be reduced if the hole is not large enough to cover the whole plug.

Does Kurapia need to be mowed?

Do I need to mow it? Kurapia requires minimum maintenance. You may want to trim around the edges where you would like to stop its spreading growth. If you want a more traditional turf-like appearance or you want to remove the flowers, Kurapia can be pruned or mowed once a month.

Is Kurapia a good ground cover?

Can kids play on Kurapia?

It is not a groundcover for kids to play on. Kurapia will reach 3–4 inches tall and produces white flowers from spring to summer, mostly when in full sun exposure. Mowing is not required, but we recommend cutting every 4-6 weeks so as to keep it under control.

The best way to root cuttings is as follows:
