Is Warming Up sour cream bad?

Don’t try and microwave it in its original container. The containers that sour cream is sold in were not designed to be microwaved. Therefore, it is unsafe to do so. It could cause harmful chemicals to leach out of the plastic and into the cream itself.

Can you get sick from reheating sour cream?

If the sour cream is left out in temperature warmer than 90 degree Fahrenheit, the harmful pathogens multiply very quickly and the fermented cream will spoil. What is this? When sour cream is microwaved inside food, then it should be safe to heat and consume.
