Is flaxseed the same as Linaza?
By Liam Parker
Nutritionally they are the same, the only difference can be seen in the plant itself. Linseed is a shorter plant, with lots of branches and lots of seeds. Flaxseed is taller (3 feet) with fewer branches. Therefore, linseed is good for creating oil and flax has long been used to make linen, rope, and nets.
What is Linaza good for?
People use it as a dietary supplement to prevent constipation, diabetes, high cholesterol, heart disease, cancer, and several other conditions. The nutrients in flaxseed include lignans, antioxidants, fiber, protein, and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), or omega-3.
What is the meaning of Linaza?
linaza → linseed, flaxseed, flax seed.
