How do you know if someone has read your message on Remind?
To see the message summary for an announcement you’ve sent, click the header of the announcement. The message summary will show you the following: Sent: The total number of people the message was sent to. Read: The % of people who have the Remind app and read your message after receiving it.

You’ll only be able to reply to a text message if a teacher or administrator has two-way messaging enabled. If they do, replying to their announcement will automatically start a direct conversation between you and them. We’ll let you know if the sender set up their account to not receive replies.
Can parents message each other on Remind?
Parent: An adult who can join or create classes on Remind. They can also message other participants in a class depending on the class settings and be linked as a parent to a student.
How do you call parents on Remind?
Open the Remind app. Tap on a class you own. Select the People tab. Tap the name of the individual you want to call.
Select the information icon the top right corner of the conversation. Slide the Replies button right to allow replies from the participant. Slide the Replies button left to turn replies from the participant off. Select Yes to confirm that you do not want the participant to be able to reply to any of your messages.
Can students see my phone number on Remind?

Read Receipts on Android Smartphones
From the text messaging app, open Settings. Go to Chat features, Text Messages, or Conversations. Turn on (or turn off) the Read Receipts, Send Read Receipts, or Request Receipt toggle switches, depending on your phone and what you want to do.
Why would someone turn off read receipts?
Disabling read receipts is nothing short of liberating, breaking us from our digital chains to others. Not only does it alleviate the guilt and anxiety to instantaneously reply, but it also helps set boundaries and manage expectations between me and my friends: I will reply to you, but when I have the time.
Are read receipts both ways?
