Do Doc Martens have a guarantee?

We offer a one year warranty against manufacturing defects for items purchased from our official online store or retail locations. Unfortunately items purchased outside of this period are not covered under our guarantee.

Can Doc Martens be repaired?

Dr. Martens boots are durable and well-made, but it’s not the simplest pair of shoes to repair. This is because of its construction that molds the sole to the upper parts of the shoes. Martens boots can be resoled to their original state, but cobblers can work on them so you can use the shoes again.

Do Dr Martens replace boots?

We will replace your footwear with a model up to the value of £169 or €209 (excluding Made in England & Collaborations).

Can you return worn Doc Martens?

You can return any unused items up to 30 days from your order date. All returned items must be in their original, unworn condition with the shoebox intact and tags attached. For tracking purposes, we are unable to accommodate exchanges. If you’d like a different size or another style, please place a new order.

How many years do Doc Martens last?

While not everyone will get a lifetime of use out of the boots, you can rest assured that you will get at least five to seven years out of them, if not more, thanks to the high-quality materials used in the creation of Doc Martens as well as the care and detail put into each boot’s creation.

How do you fix cracked Doc Martens?

Step 1: Clean. Using soap or leather cleaner, wash off any dirt with cloth or sponge. Step 2: Wait overnight for the leather to dry completely. Step 3: Smooth. Step 4: Apply leather filler. Step 5: Remove excess paste with the knife. Step 6: Let the leather dry for six hours.

How do I stop my Dr. Martens from cracking?

You can prevent cracks by saddle soaping (or leather cleaner of your choice) and applying a light coat of mink oil (leather conditioner of your choice) every 3 to 6 months. Polish them at the same time. If they get wet (wet like wading thru a puddle) saddle soap and mink oil after drying them out.

Do Doc Martens sandals last long?

Once you break in a pair they last for many years. My previous pair lasted about 8 years with regular wear. If you are on the fence about the price, you won’t be disappointed with the quality of these sandals.

Can you dye the stitching on Dr Martens?
